Engagement

Since 2000, I have supported the non-profit organisation Themba Labantu – Hoffnung für die Menschen e.V. as a member, sponsor and long-term education partner.
The organisation supports locally initiated projects in Africa. A central focus is the community centre iThemba Labantu in the township of Philippi near Cape Town. It provides children and young people living in highly challenging conditions with access to education, guidance and a protected environment.
What matters to me personally is contributing to sustainable opportunities for children and young people – through education, reliable relationships and safe spaces that create perspective where it is most needed.
